‘Ysyakh’ is Yakutia's main national holiday, otherwise known as the summer New Year. Many tourists specifically come to Yakutia on the days of its celebration. After all, spectacular sports competitions and performances await them!
It is celebrated on June 21, the day of the summer solstice and the weekend closest to it. The largest summer festival is held in Yakutsk, but every district of Yakutia has its own fests.
