The Yasnaya Polyana Estate Museum in Tula Region is a place of pilgrimage for thousands of tourists every year. It was there that writer Leo Tolstoy lived almost his entire life.
He always said that the environment of this estate helped him to work.
This very atmosphere, complete with furnishings, has been preserved in his house-museum by Tolstoy's daughter, Alexandra Lvovna.
