‘Anke’ pie was first prepared in the family of the writer Leo Tolstoy. The recipe was left by their family doctor Nikolai Anke, who was fond of cooking. 

The main thing in this pie is the lemon cream. The sweet taste of crumbly crust successfully complements the sourness of the cream.
