We continue the topic of pronunciation rules in Russian!
The letters ‘вств’ are pronounced without the first ‘в’ in the words ‘здравствуйте’, ‘чувство’ and other cognate words, such as ‘почувствовать’, ‘сочувствовать’, ‘предчувствие’ and so on.
There are exceptions, however, which do require you to pronounce the first ‘в’:
баловство [balovstvo]
вдовство [vdovstvo]
