1. БЛАГОВЕЩЕНСКИЙ СОБОР (Annunciation Cathedral)

The Annunciation Cathedral in Voronezh is the third largest Orthodox church in Russia and one of the tallest in the world. The height of the building, including spires, is 97 meters. The cathedral was built over ten years and its foundation stone was consecrated by His Holiness Patriarch Alexy II of Moscow and All Rus'.
2. КУВШИН (Jug)

The silver jug appeared on the city's coat of arms in 1781. It symbolizes the fertility and wealth of the local lands, as well as the hard work of the local residents. The water flowing from it signifies the Voronezh River.
3. ИВАН БУНИН (Ivan Bunin)

The famous writer was born in Voronezh in 1870, but, three years later, his family moved to the Oryol Province. Nevertheless, Bunin is remembered and honored in Voronezh. His house-museum operates there and an annual poetry festival and even a residential complex were named in his honor.
