LESSON 18: ‘Ш’ & ‘Ж’

These consonants have resembling sounds in English:

• ш sounds like 'sh' in ‘shut’ 
• ж sounds like ‘g’ in ‘beige’

Task 1: Listen to the audio & repeat the syllables out loud

ша - ши - шо - ше - шу

жа - жи - жо - же - жу

ша - жа    ши - жи     шо - жо      ше - же     шу - жу

Task 2: Listen to the audio. Then read the words out loud
