‘Gorny Institute’ is the first new station to open in the city in 5 years.

It was under construction for about 10 years and was mined to the depth of 70 meters. The station became the new final stop on Line 4 (orange or ‘Lakhtinsko-Pravoberezhnaya’ line).

The station is located on Vasilievsky Island and exits onto Bolshoy Prospekt. This means, access to the trendy Sevkabel Port is now even easier!

Some of the station’s main features unique marble panels and stone installations.
