Russians LOVE bliny and, sometimes, they simply make too many! So, here’s a fancy way to eat them all!

Actually, you don’t have to wait for Maslenitsa week to make this multi-layer cake.

You might have seen some types of crepe cakes before, but what makes this one so special is that it needs lots of very thin pancakes to build a masterpiece. While it takes much longer to prepare than those consisting of thick, American-style fluffy pancakes, it's really worth it!

It’s enough to cook 20 thin pancakes, spread them with cream, stack them on top of each other and leave the resulting “cake” in the refrigerator for 3-4 hours. The delicious dish is then ready for tea.

Another good thing about this crepe cake is that it's perfect no matter what filling you use: chocolate ganache, cream cheese, custard or whatever. However, if you want to experience the most authentic Russian taste, try making your crepe cake with whipped cream. This combination with pancakes is absolutely insanely delicious!
